WORLD WILDLIFE FUND (WWF)
WWF is the largest and the most experienced independent global conservation organization with almost five million supporters and network active in more than 90 countries and the international Secretariat at Gland, Switzerland.

Nepal has been a pivotal for WWF ever since it first provided support for the rhino and tiger conservation in the late 1960s. the WWF Nepal Program Office was established on 19 May 1993. Our focus has changed from the early emphasis on species conservation to a landscape level approach to conservation and sustainable livelihood that has been incorporated in the Terai Arc Landscape, the Sacred Himalayan Landscape and the Northern Mountains Landscape.

WWF Nepal works for the conservation of forests, freshwater and species and protecting nature from climate change, all with a strong emphasis on sustainable livelihoods. Our programs in Nepal are the Terai Arc Landscape Program with the Government of Nepal and other partners,the KangchenjungaConservation Area Project, the Sagarmatha Community Agro- forestry Project and the Northern Mountains Conservation Project.

INTERNATIONAL CLUB
